Sales & Service Fire Extinguisher Technician

The Role
Reporting to our Service Manager, the successful candidate will serve the needs of our extensive portfolio of clients primarily in the North East & Dublin region. Applications are welcomed from field-based engineers or experienced Extinguisher Technicians currently working within the Fire Protection & Service industry. However, as no experience is necessary and full training will be provided, applications are also welcomed from new to industry candidates.
A Full-Time position, primary responsibilities will include:
• Servicing and Maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems to the relevant Irish Standard
• Site Reviews/Generation of reports and recommendations
• Establishing and developing relationships with clients, colleagues, project partners and industry professionals
• Demonstration of systems to clients
• A keen interest in the delivery of exceptional customer service and in sales is an essential attribute to be successful in this role.
Candidates will require the following essential criteria:
Full Irish Driving Licence
An understanding of Health & Safety at work
High levels of attention to detail
Ability to hold an autonomous role and demonstrate good time management
PC Literate
Applicants must have the ability to work on their own initiative & as part of a team.
High levels of literacy and verbal & written communication skills are required
Successful candidates must be tenacious, ambitious and demonstrate a willingness to succeed.

• Site Reviews/Generation of reports and recommendations
• Establishing and developing relationships with clients, colleagues, project partners and industry professionals
• Demonstration of systems to clients
The Person:
• Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
• 2 years + experience in the Fire & Life Safety industry desirable
• Sound knowledge of Irish Standards 3218 and 3217
• Full clean drivers’ licence
• Strong PC skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels (Verbal & Written)
• Friendly disposition with strong desire to always deliver an excellent level of customer care

Qualified Electrician

The Role:
Reporting to our Service Manager, the successful candidate will serve the needs of our extensive portfolio of clients primarily in the North East & Dublin region.
A Full-Time position, primary responsibilities will include:
Install and program Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Systems with the guidance of building plans and electrical layouts.
Install devices/fittings at appropriate locations, performing all necessary tasks, such as drilling holes for cabling and accessing locations such as crawlspaces or attics to ensure optimal wiring layouts.
Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards and with customer’s concerns or preferences.
Show customers how to use system, discuss any questions or concerns and ensure customers are fully satisfied with the service they receive.
Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements.
Review installation manuals, building plans and work orders to plan optimal locations for system components and wiring.
Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including ordering and installing replacement parts, as necessary.
Compose and submit documentation and reports for each installation or repair visit, complying with company’s standard operating procedure.
The Person:
• Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Equivalent
• Experience in the Fire & Life Safety industry desirable but not compulsory
• Sound knowledge of Irish Standards
• Full clean drivers’ licence
• Strong PC skills
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling Training (can be provided)
• Ability to communicate at all levels (Verbal & Written)
• Friendly disposition with strong desire to always deliver an excellent level of customer care
